Fueled by creativity, at an early age Christina knew that she wanted to work in the fashion industry. When other kids were getting summer jobs at the mall she was applying for design internships in NYC. Christina interned with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi while in high school. This was her first taste of the fashion world and her dream come true!

Christina attended college at Parsons School of Design where she earned her BFA in FASHION DESIGN. One of Christina's professors noticed her flair for accessories and suggested that she try and get into the accessory world. Christina's croquis (sketches) always included sparkly accessories from head to toe.

In her senior year, Christina started making jewelry and hand knit bags in her NYC apartment. Her bold accessories attracted costume designer and fashion visionary, Patricia Field. Pat styled many of Christina's accessories on Sarah Jessica Parker and other cast members of the hit series Sex and the City... This was the start of Christina's career.

Christina attended the Henri Bendel legendary open call and was selected to sell her line in the famed 5th Ave Shop. Christina has also sold her hand made accessories to Fred Segal (Santa Monica), Patricia Field boutique, Hotel Venus, Takashimaya and other fine stores in NYC, LA and Japan. Her designs were featured in glossy fashion magazines including InStyle, VOGUE, ALLURE, Seventeen and LUCKY. Celebrities including Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Claire Danes and Rosario Dawson have rocked Christina's accessories.

While working on her line, Christina also dabbled in fashion styling for Jive records and as a spokesperson for Suave HAIR VIBE. This was an excellent opportunity for Christina to incorporate her designs on models and celebrities.

In 2001 Christina made a fashionable appearance as the Bikini Girl in Ben Stiller's mocumentary, ZOOLANDER.

IN 2003 Christina was selected by Teen Vogue magazine to help design the Dooney and Bourke "It" handbag line in Milan, Italy.

Being a unique young designer sometimes has its downside too. Christina (like many other designers) has seen her creations "ripped off" by other companies/ design firms. With the "If you can't beat them join them" philosophy, Christina, got a senior accessory design job at a private label accessory co in NYC. This is where she learned the ins and outs of accessory design and production. She worked in all areas of accessory design including designing costume jewelry, belts, scarves, sunglasses and small bags. She traveled to the far east and europe for inspiration and production.

Christina has continued to work in accessory design as the Design Director for Liz Claiborne and Isaac Mizrahi Collection and IM Live lines. Currently Christina is consulting and is excited for what the future brings. She hopes to inspire others in their creative journeys.
